The ultimate road to relaxation leads through Red Mountain Spa, the renowned 84-room resort in St. George Utah, two hours north of Las Vegas.

David Romanelli of Yeah Dave Yoga and Katrina Markoff of Vosges Chocolates combine yoga and chocolate to create a peak sensory experience to relieve stress and stimulate the imagination.

The two-and-a-half-hour course will be conducted March 18, May 6 and September 9. David Romanellli will teach a one-hour flowing yoga class that will get the blood and energy moving followed by one hour of slower, cooling stretches to create a feeling of deep relaxation. Throughout the experience, he will stimulate the five senses through music, aromatherapy, massage, color, and chocolate.

After the yoga, participants will spend a half-hour experiencing the amazing taste of a Vosges truffle.

About the Seminar Leaders
David Romanelli grew up in Los Angeles where he began practicing yoga in 1996. He says yoga provides him with enhanced focus, clarity, and creativity. “I teach a really fun vinyasa flow class with inspiring message and great tunes.”

Vosges exotic truffles are made from the finest ingredients from around the world. Owner/Chocolatier, Katrina Markoff, personally chooses every spice, flower and chocolate that is flown into her Chicago kitchen.

Markoff uses the original methods of French confectionery artistry, which she learned during her training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. After graduating with the Grand Diplôme, she worked in France, Spain, Italy, Southeast Asia and Australia. Her experiences include apprenticeships with pastry chef, Christophe Felder, at the Hotel Crillon in Paris and the team of Fernando and Alberto Adria at El Bulli in Spain. After her time in Europe, she explored the cuisines, spices, wines and cheeses of Asia and Australia working in many restaurants.

Inspired by Markoff’s global experience, Vosges truffles have exotic infusions of rare spices and flowers combined with premium chocolate, giving a delicate balance of flavor with a layered and lingering sensation of spice and chocolate.
