Miami Beach’s Sexiest Restaurant Introduces Sensual Desserts for Chocolate Lovers

South Beach’s sexiest restaurant has introduced a troupe of titillating desserts featuring aphrodisiac ingredients and presentations that are sure to engage lovers in “round two” of culinary seduction.

The Miami Beach landmark, at 1445 Pennsylvania Avenue, is renowned for its aphrodisiac cuisine, but the dessert selections are the most sensual part of the dining experience.

The “Tantra Blindfold” offers a provocative dessert-sampling experience for amorous couples. A black silk blindfold is served with a platter of seven chocolate concoctions, and the taster is required to wear the blindfold while the partner feeds her or him each chocolate creation. The chocolate offerings change nightly to maintain the surprise element and always feature different textures, temperatures and flavors ranging from spicy to savory to sweet.

Also engaging is the “Dipped in Chocolate,” Tantra’s interpretation of dessert fondue. Melted dark chocolate is served with cream-filled puff pastries, saffron marshmallows, ginger cookies and a variety of fruits, such as cherries and strawberries.

One of the most famous lovers of all time is the inspiration for “Cleopatra’s Pyramid,” features triple chocolate (white, dark and milk) mousse paired with sweet-dusted strawberries.

In the literary world, Romeo and Juliet is considered one of the greatest love stories ever told. At Tantra, guests call “Romeo and Juliet Molten Cake” the greatest dessert ever sold. Dark chocolate molten cake surrounds a hazelnut praline center accompanied by banana-rum ice cream and fresh berries. Achingly sweet and rich, this is not for the faint of heart, but then again, neither is eternal love.
