New Bonbon-Filled Jewelry Box
from Chuao Chocolatier

This Valentine’s Day, Southern California’s Chuao Chocolatier is satisfying women’s cravings with the Elegancia Jewelry Box, a deep red keepsake box with two drawers of 32 gourmet, handmade bonbons in a variety of unusual flavors.

“Chocolate is the perfect Valentine gift as it stimulates the brain, releases serotonin and increases our sense of well-being,” explains Owner and Chocolatier Michael Antonorsi. “Our attention to detail and fine ingredients make our bonbons a true delicacy and the Elegancia Jewelry Box releases just the right amount of endorphins for a romantic euphoric rush.”

Elegancia
contains

  • Picante, a bonbon with California raisin fondue and Napa valley cabernet caramel spiced with pasilla chili and cayenne pepper covered in dark Venezuelan chocolate

  • Chevere, a silky goat cheese and pear butter cream bonbon enhanced with a touch of crushed black pepper inside dark Venezuelan chocolate

  • Cambur, a soft banana and brown sugar caramel bonbon inside Venezuelan milk chocolate

  • Parchita, a heart-shaped passion-fruit caramel bonbon inside milk or dark chocolate

Chuao also brings back the limited-edition Eros, named for the Greek god of love and desire, a one-third pound pure chocolate heart, hand-decorated with a metallic blush that opens to reveal 14 assorted handmade Chuao truffles

The Latin Lovers comes in sets of either two or four bonbons. Each set features heart-shaped milk and dark chocolate bonbons filled with passion fruit caramel and hand decorated with edible metallic blush imported from France.

Named after the legendary cacao-producing region of Chuao in central Venezuela, Chuao Chocolatier combines premium, single-bean Venezuelan chocolate with fresh, natural ingredients. Chuao Chocolate Cafés are in La Jolla, Del Mar, Encinitas, and other Southern California locations.
