Pure Genius Chocolates

Once upon a time, Robin Autorino was a computer geek. Then her inner artist came out. Robin founded a line of exquisitely beautiful chocolates--almost too pretty to eat. Each one looks like a jewel. The shapes reflected the flavors--a red heart filled with raspberry ganache, a chocolate turtle shape filled with nuts and caramel, and several inspired by spirits and liqueurs.

And then her social conscience came out. She created single source chocolates, distinctly different. They are Pure Africa, a blend of the finest cacao beans from the continent; Pure Ecuador, brushed with silver luster dust; Pure Dominican Republic, highlighted with 23k edible gold dust; and Pure Ghana, brushed with copper cocao butter.

Each chocolate and confection is made by hand, inspected by hand, and packaged by hand. And as soon as you get your hands on them, you will want to eat them all. I’ve tasted wonderful chocolates. I’ve seen beautiful works of art in museums. These chocolates combine the best of both.

The instructions advise you to consume the chocolates within two weeks. I devoured my box of a dozen in less than two days. I expect that some day the Robin Chocolate burgundy box will be an icon, like the blue Tiffany box from another jewel producer.
