Prager's Royal Escort won Best of Show Dessert Wine at the
Orange County Fair. Made from Petite Sirah from the stellar 2003
harvest, Royal Escort is reminiscent of spiced cherries,
boysenberries, cedar and plums. Prager's 2004 Tomás Port is made
from classic Portuguese varietals including rare Touriga and
Tinta Cao. There are only a few growers in California who farm
these traditional port grapes. The 2004 Tomás Port is richly
textured and medium-bodied, redolent of candied cherries and
orange zest with a hint of caramel, and a spicy plum, anise and
black walnut finish often found in Portuguese ports made from
