California 2008 Wine and Chocolate Weekend

The family wineries of the Madera Wine Trail in the Madera, CA, area will host Wine and Chocolate Event Weekend on February 9 and 10, 10am to 5pm. Wine lovers may purchase a Passport Wine Glass at any of the participating wineries both days of the event.

A diverse array of current and new vintages will be available for tasting and purchase along with chocolate creations, special food pairings, art and music. Participants can sample chocolate treats from Oasis Trading Company at Birdstone Winery. Chateau Lasgoity will pair their red wines with chocolate cheesecake squares and white wines will be paired with chocolate chip raspberry brownies. Other participating vineyards include Ficklin Vineyards, Mariposa Wine Company, Oak Hollow Winery, Pacific Crest, Quad Winery, and Westbrook Wine Farm.
