Journey of the Pod Art Contest, Bucks County, PA

The third annual Journey of The Pod art contest, is a the kick-off event for The World of Chocolate, to be held in Bucks County on May 23, 2010, at the New Hope Eagle Fire Hall, New Hope, PA. The contest, sponsored by The Chocolate Bar, connects chocolate as a product that has traveled through time to find itself into the lives of millions of people.

The Journey of The Pod, connects chocolate lovers with people in parts of the world near the equator in order to better understand the struggle to harvest cocao plantations amongst issues of deforestation, limited resources and an imbalance in the ecosystems. Contest guidelines can be found at www.buckscountychocolateshow.com A portion of the proceeds from products created with the winning art will be donated to a non-profit organization to protect the Rainforest Regions and empower its people.
