Popular Solid Chocolate Skulls return. Skulls are inspired by the
Mexican holiday Day of the Dead, devoted to honoring the souls of
deceased loved ones. During the festivities, between October 31st
and November 2nd, families exchange sugar skulls, or calaveritas.
Flavors include Blanca, 33 percent cocoa butter, solid Venezuelan
white chocolate; Barcelona, 41 percent cacao milk chocolate with
hickory smoked almonds and grey sea salt; and Red Fire, 55 percent
cacao dark chocolate with ancho and chipotle chillies and Ceylon
cinnamon.
