Moon Rocks to Celebrate 40th Anniversary
with Historic Moon Walk

Chocolatique, premium chocolate makers based in California, have introduced Moon Rocks to mark the 40th anniversary of the first walk on the moon. The company was founded in 2003 by Ed Engoron, Hollywood art director, illustrator, restaurateur, chef, and chocolatier, and Joan Viewegar, food marketing executive.

When they introduced the Moon Rocks Collection recently at a fancy food show, they say, “As soon as we mentioned that the collection was created to celebrate the anniversary of the moon walk, people responded with memories of exactly where they were when this historic event took place—from families huddled around their black and white TVs to cuddling couples gazing up at the moon while listening to the radio. Most people recalled the event as if it happened yesterday.”

The collection is made up of 15 chocolates in whimsical flavors such as Apollo Almond, Pluto Pomegranate Caramel, Solar Sesame and Moon Rocks Mousse. They are all encased in Chocollatique’s Private Reserve Dark Chocolate, Prestige Milk Chocolate or Snowy-white Chocolate.
