Chocolate Covered Strawberry



 
 


2 oz. chilled hot chocolate
1.5 oz Van Gogh Chocolate Vodka
Strawberry Whipped Cream for garnish

Make your favorite rich hot chocolate and refrigerate until chilled. 

To make the Strawberry Whipped Cream, puree strawberries (about 6, or to taste) to a smooth consistency.  Whip a three parts heavy whipping cream and two parts half and half until a texture becomes light and fluffy.  Add the strawberries along with a small amount of sugar to the cream, mix, and place mixture into a pastry bag. 

Combine ice, vodka and chilled chocolate to a martini shaker.  Shake hard, and then strain into a martini glass.  Pipe a thin layer of the Strawberry Whipped Cream over the martini to cover.  Garnish with one fresh strawberry.
