“Over 21” Bittersweet Chocolate Fondue

This fun party recipe is from celebrity chef Kathy Casey, owner of Kathy Casey Food Studios in Seattle.

Makes 1/3 cup.

1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips or disks
3 Tbsp. heavy cream
1 Tbsp. orange liqueur (for non-alcoholic, sub 1 Tbsp. additional cream for liqueur)

Place ingredients in a small glass bowl. Heat in microwave on full power for 20 seconds and then stir to combine. Return to microwave, heat an additional 10 seconds and stir. Cooking time will depend upon microwave strength. (Or melt chocolate in a bain-marie.) Serve warm. (Keep warm over a fondue pot or butter melter.)

Arrange chunks of citrus fruit, quartered strawberries, and mint leaves on 8 6-inch picks or skewers and dip!
