Truffle Chocolate Cake
By Executive Chef Jan Jorgensen
Serves 6 - 8
Ingredients
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick butter
12 oz. bitter sweet chocolate (chopped)
1/3 cup triple sec
6 eggs (large)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Bring water and sugar to a boil,
stirring to dissolve sugar.
Take pan off heat and add butter and chocolate, stir to a smooth
consistency.
Whisk in triple sec and add eggs one at a time.
Pour into a buttered and floured 2X8 inch cake pan.
Place in water bath. Bake for 45 minutes.
