Here is a classic recipe from Hershey.

The Hotel Hershey's Chocolate Cream Pie

9 inch          Baked pastry shell
2-1/2 oz.     Unsweetened baking chocolate
2-1/2 cups   Milk
1 cup           Sugar
3 Tbsp.        All-purpose flour
5 Tbsp.        Cornstarch
1/2 tsp.        Salt
3                  Egg yolks
2 Tbsp.        Butter
1-1/2 tsp.     Vanilla

Heat 1-1/2 cups of milk and sugar in one-quart sauce pan.  Combine 1 cup of milk along with flour, corn starch, salt and egg yolks.  Temper this mixture by adding 1/3 of the hot sugar/milk mixture. Then adding the entire egg-yolk-mixture to the hot milk mixture and bring to a boil.  Boil and stir one minute aaand remove from heat.  Add chocolate and stir in until melted.  Finish with vanilla and butter.
