Gloria’s Favorite Double Chocolate Raspberry Supreme
>Crust
1 cup flour
¼ cup powdered sugar
½ cup cold butter
Cut butter into flour and sugar. Press into 9x13 pan. Bake 15 minutes at 375
degrees. Let cool.
Filling
½ cup
raspberry jam, red or black
2 tsp
milk
1 cup melted
white chocolate
Mix together
until smooth. Pour over baked crust
Chocolate glaze
1 cup melted
dark chocolate chips
½ cup whipping
cream
Mix together and
pour over top of filling, spreading to cover completely. Refrigerate
and cut into squares.
This makes a
very elegant dessert for such a simple recipe. I shared this recipe
with friends of our local ballet. Now the dessert appears on the
table every year for the “Sugar Plum Fairy” reception preceding the
annual presentation of The Nutcracker.
Because of the
whipped cream, be sure to refrigerate any leftovers.
