Amuse Amuses with Chocolate-Covered PB&J Lollipops

Executive Chef Doug Brown and Executive Pastry Chef Jason Foss of Amuse, located in the fast-growing South Side Lamar neighborhood of downtown Dallas, have assembled a creative menu with desserts that combine intriguing flavors. Among the whimsical creations are the PB&J Lollipops. Milk chocolate shells are filled with peanut butter and  raspberry jam and coated with dark chocolate, then drizzled with white chocolate.

Another chocolate item on the menu is the Mocha Chipwhiches, three mocha chip cookie pairs filled with ice cream and then dunked in chocolate. Set on their side, they parade proudly down the plate. Ask for the fudge on the side, and dip them. The fudge sauce is actually for the beignets, but I prefer the mocha chipwhiches.
